NO fighting allowed at your wedding
I recently read an article on azcentral.com about a warrant being issued for a bride who kicked a police officer.
Say what?!?!
I’ve participated in some fun weddings, and had the crowd hopping in a big way, but never have I seen a fight break out on the dance floor. Weddings are supposed to be classy, and by classy, I mean no fighting.
As the story goes, several guys (not gentlemen, obviously) were dancing in a provocative manner with the bride, and the groom took offense to it. I guess things just escalated at that point and when the police arrived there were 30 people fighting on the dance floor. Somehow the bride was furious and decided to take on a police officer by kicking him (yes, in the wrong place).
As a result, I’m providing my list of things to do to prevent a fight at your wedding:
- Don’t invite people who fight
- It’s okay for the bar to be limited, your friends will not think less of you
- Have your wedding at a professional facility, not in your back yard (hotels would’ve had staff to minimize any physical activity before 30 of your guests were involved)
- Don’t invite people who fight (did I mention that one before?)

As you can tell from this photo, the bride likely got roughed up a bit too. It’s unfortunate that she had multiple photographers at her wedding – the one taking pictures of the ceremony, and the police department that took this picture.

..not the best way to start a marriage is it?!!
